Described and illustrated in Buck (1951) as a font dating from 1858, like the church itself, "and now covered in white enamel! -- probably a later embelishment". Pevsner & Cherry (1975) write: "Font. Neo-Norman, with intersected arches, but dressed in glossy oli-paint (at the time of writing)." The font probably the work of Teulon, 1857-1858. [NB: no earlier church reported here].
