Buck (1951) mentions a "large font of Early English style [...] installed when the church was restored in 1898". Noted in Pevsner & Cherry (1975): "Font. An C18 baluster". Draper (2004) [http://www.wishful-thinking.org.uk/genuki/WIL/LangleyBurrell/StPeter2.html] [accessed 8 September 2008] reports two modern fonts in this church: "A rich 19th century font stands by the door, another slim 18th century baluster font at the east end of the aisle". [NB: the fabric of the church goes back to Norman times, but we have no information on the earlier font(s) of this church].
