Noted in Pevsner & Cherry (1975): "Font. Square, plain, of Purbeck marble (?)". The Victoria County History (Wiltshire, vol. 15, 1995) notes: "A church stood in Bulford in the early 12th century. [...] The chancel arch and the east, south, and west walls of the nave survive from the early 12th century. [...] The church was restored to C. E. Ponting's designs 1902–11. [...] Registrations of baptisms and marriages survive from 1654"; there is no mention of a font in the VCH entry for this parish. The font consists of a plain square basin , probably of the time of the original church, raised on a set of replacement columns of the 19th century.
