Noted in Pevsner & Cherry (1975): "Font. Octagonal, Perp[endicular], with quatrefoils; bad." The Victoria County History (Wiltshire, vol. 14, 1991) notes: "Brokenborough church had apparently been built by the 12th century. [...] The nave, small and with thick walls, and the chancel, almost square, were apparently built in the 12th century or earlier. [...] The church was restored in 1883 [...] The registers of baptisms and burials are complete from 1697"; there is no mention of a font in the VCH entry for this church.
