The present baptismal font in the Iglesia de San Andrés is not the original one but, as stated in Marín Fidalgo (2007), a replacement font made by J. de Herrera in 1768-1769. The present font consists of a shallow round basin with a secondary small basin in it, raised on a very slender round pedestal and a circular lower base; there is a moulding on the underbowl of the basin; there is reddish paint remaining on both the basin and the pedestal. The mini-basin insert is shell-shaped. [NB: this saame source dates the original church to the mid-to-late 13th century, or early in the 14th, but we have no information on the earlier font(s) of this church]
