Font Notes:
Noted in Chancel-Bardelot (2008) as one of five holy-water stoups in this cathedral church; this one is described as being of cast metal [cf. Index entry for Bourges No. 2 for another cast metal stoup in this church], and having the arms of the Duques of Bourbon on its upper rim; it is raised on a stone base, an octagonal pedestal. The source suggests a 15th or 16th century date for both metal stoups.
