Baptismal font consisting of a round shallow basin decorated with a ribbed pattern all around, and heads at (two?) opposite ends; the upper rim a sharp moulding, with another such at the bottom of the underbowl; raised on a moulded baluster pedestal base and a minimal round plinth. A late work, probably of the date of the building itself, the Baroque period. Contemporary font cover with its cover shaped like a gilt-detailed low dome with a raised ball finial. [NB: the original church is said to have been built in the 6th or 7th century, and a later Romanesque building followed, but we have no information of the early baptismal fonts of this site]
