Allen (1839?) writes: "The old church, which was built in 1540, was one of the few that escaped the fire of London [1666] but […] it was taken down in 1795, and the present structure erected […] The font is of marble and stands in a pew beneath the north-western gallery". Baltch (1995) notes that "the later [1796] building was demolished in 1874" [NB: we do not know whether the original font survived and was re-used in the later churchs [unlikely], nor whether or not any of the fonts survived into the 20th century]
