A large object that could well be a garden or churchyard ornament, but for the decorative motifs on the sides; it consists of a large round basin decorated with a thin moulding at the rim, below which a scalloped band and ribbed pattern all around; the pedestal base is quadrangular and moulded. It appears to be 18th-century.
