Noted in Kelly's Directory of 1883: "an ancient font". The English Heritage National Monuments Record [http://www.imagesofengland.org.uk/Details/Default.aspx?id=32751] [accessed 13 June 2008] notes an "octagonal Perpendicular font with quatrefoil panels in south aisle, recut in C19" [NB: there is a Norman doorway [late 12th-century?] from the original building in this chiefly 19th-century church, but we have no information on the original font]
