One of three vessels located in the interior of St. Oswald's [though Pevsner mentions none of them]. This font, no longer in use for baptisms, stands near the organ and consists of an octagonal basin with plain slightly concave sides and a tall chamfered underbowl with equally shaped panels; short octagonal stem; round plinth. The upper rim of the basin is badly damaged. It is possible that this font may be the original from the Late Perpendicular church [ca. 1467?]
