Kelly's Directory of 1883 reports a "Norman font" in this church. Wade & Wade (1929) report a late-Norman font in this church. The National Monuments Record, English Heritage [http://www.imagesofengland.org.uk/Details/Default.aspx?id=263603] [accessed 17 September 2009] records a "round tub font with cable mould on turned base" in this church. Not mentioned in Pevsner (1958). The font consists of a cylindrical basin with mouldings at the rim and lower level, a rounded underbowl, and is raised on a pedestal base. The wooden cover is flat and round, probably modern.
