The Victoria County History (Somerset, vol. 6, 1992) informs: "the church of ST. PETER, Stolford, was provided in 1866 by Sir Peregrine Fuller-Palmer-Acland [...] It was closed in 1945 and reopened in 1955 [...] It is a small timber building, formerly known as St. Andrew's Mission Church [...] The Perpendicular font was formerly in Stogursey church."
