Wade & Wade (1929) report "an ancient font" in this church [NB: this reference must be to St. Mary Magdalen's, as Wade & Wade specify that the church "has no tower", which fits tower-less Magdalen; St. Mary Ottersey's does have a tower]. Not mentioned in Pevsner (1958). The Stocklinch Benefit web site [http://www.stocklinch.org.uk/Churches.htm#MaryMagdalene] [accessed 6 April 2008] claims that "the font at Ottersey church is Norman, that at Magdalen [sic] is Saxon".
