Romanesque baptismal font of a design typical to this area of Castille: a large basin with very prominent rubbed pattern around the sides and underbowl, and decorative patterns around the upper basin side and, at times, on the squat pedestal base. In this case the upper basin side has a band of roundels with six radii, probably meant as stylised floral motifs [one of the sides has been damaged and replaced with a modern insert of the same pattern]; below the large ribs is a rope moulding followed down by a band of saw-tooth, both forming a sort of central ring below which the lower base turns square, though some it is buried under the present flooring. The thick wooden cover is round and plain; date unknown but could be old.
