Noted in Jeboult (1873): "The font is handsome and massive." Wade & Wade (1929) mention in passim a font, quite probably from the "ludicrous example of Philistinism" that replaced the "small but interesting Perp[endicular] church". Not mentioned in Pevsner (1958). [NB: we have no other information on the font of the original Perpendicular church. The font noted in Jeboult could be an earlier one given his description]
