Font Notes:
Noted in Verey & Brooks (1999-2002): "Font. Perp[endicular], octagonal, probably recut in the C19. Deep mouldings and bands of quatrefoils on bowl and stem." Octagonal wooden cover with ring handle. The whole on an octagonal plinth. If not re-cut, Victorian. [NB: the fabric of the church goes back to the 13th century, but we have no information on its earlier medieval font].
