Described in Glynne: "The font is Perpendicular, the bowl octagonal, panelled with quatrefoils containing roses and shields, in which occur the arms of the Malmaines and of the Derings. The shaft of the font has buttresses at the angles, and is set upon four wide steps of Bethersden marble; the whole is covered unfortunately with colouring. Baptismal font consisting of an octagonal basin raised on an octagonal pedestal base decorated with buttresses and mouldings. The wooden cover consists of a flat and plain octagonal platform with raised ribs around a central pivot; it appears modern.
