Noted in Verey & Brooks (1999-2002): "Font. C15; octagonal bowl enriched with quatrefoils." The baptismal font consists of an octagonal basin and a pedestal base of the same shape; the sides of the basin are decorated with quatrefoil-in-a-circle panels sandwiched between thick roll mouldings; the undebowl chamfer is plain and slightly concave; centre ring moulding; a trefoiled window on each of the sides of the stem. Wooden cover, octagonal and flat. The whole is raised on a polygonal plinth. [NB: Christ Church has a modern font; not listed in this Index]
