No idividual entry for this Teddington found in the Domesday. The entry for this parish in the Victoria County History (Middlesex, vol. 3, 1962) notes: "early 13th century Teddington was a chapelry of Staines, but by the end of the Middle Ages it had become independent. [...] There was apparently a chapel at Teddington about 1217-18 [...] It was then agreed that Teddington was to be removed from the jurisdiction of the priest of Staines, who had probably hitherto appointed a vicar to the chapel. In future there was to be a chaplain, appointed and paid by the Abbot of Westminster. [...] The church of ST. ALBAN, which replaced St. Mary's, was opened in 1889. [...] The font and one of the side altars were formerly in St. Mary's Church, and there are various other fittings which are older than St. Alban's itself and were brought to it from different countries. They include seven silver lamps which were once in the Church of the Holy Sepulchre in Jerusalem. [...] The church of ST. PETER AND ST. PAUL in Broad Street was opened in 1865 [...] The present church of ST. MARK, in St. Mark's Road, South Teddington, was opened in 1939. In 1875 a National school, which also served as a mission building, had been opened in Schoolhouse Lane, and in 1880 a mission church on the corner of Fairfax Road and Bushy Park Road was opened. It was pulled down when the new church was built. [...] The church of ST. MICHAEL AND ST. GEORGE, Wilcox Road, Fulwell, was opened in 1913." The present font in the now parich church of St. Mary with St. Albans is modern.
