Noted in Verey & Brooks (1999-2002): "Font. C13, circular, with bands of dogtooth moulding." The basin is of bucket shape, but is decorated with lip-moulding at the upper rim, followed down by three bands of motifs (dog-tooth, nail-head and mixed, in that order, from to bottom) framed by round mouldings, a thicker one at the lower edge of the basin; it is raised on a later base consisting of a central shaft and four outer detached colonnettes, all five decorated with moulded bases; on a square lower base and a polygonal plinth with kneeling stone. The wooden cover is round and flat, with metal decorations and ring handle; appears modern probably 19th-century.
