Noted in Verey & Brooks (1999-2002): "Font. Octagonal bowl enriched with quatrefoils in circles, and an octagonal pedestal with trefoil-headed niches on five sides." Baptismal font consisting of an octagonal basin the sides of which are decorated with large quatrefoils-in-a-circle panels; plain underbowl chamfer; angular moulding at the centre ring; a trefoiled window on each side of the octagonal stem; splayed octagonal lower base and miniscule quadrangular plinth. The octagonal wooden cover is has metal decoration and ring handle, and appears Victorian [NB: was there an earlier church from which the Norman stone Crucifix in this church originated? Or, are the few Norman traces here ex situ?].
