view of church exterior in context - south view

Scene Description: Source caption: "St Swithun's Church, Great Dalby. The tower dates from the 13th century, although rebuilt later. The interesting feature is that the nave and south aisle were built in 1658, during the period of the Commonwealth, a time which saw very little church-building activity. The chancel was extensively restored in the 19th century."
