Noted in Verey and Brooks (1999-2002): "Font. Perp[endicular], octagonal, with a quatrefoil on each face of the bowl." Baptismal font consisting of an octagonal basin the sides of which are decorated with floral motifs inscribed in a quatrefoil-in-a-circle-in-a-square; raised on an octagonal pedestal base decorated with blind trefoil (?) arches; splaying lower base. The outer surface of the font appears very weathered and/or damaged. The wooden cover is octagonal and flat. [NB: this church has beautiful Norman work on the north and south portals, and must have had an earlier font, but we have no information on it].
