Noted in Verey & Brooks (1999-2002): "Font. C15 Perp[endicular], octagonal bowl with quatrefoils; quite big." Noted and illustrated in The Gloucestershire Photo Library [http://www.rootsweb.com/~engcots/EbringtonPhotos.html] [accessed 16 September 2007]: "The stone font has seven sides each panel being carved with a rose motif." The sides of the basin are deeply carved; the underbowl has a single square flower motif on each side; there is significan damage to the sides and upper rim, one of the sides of the basin being badly damaged; the heptagonal pedestal base is moulded; polygonal plinth. Wooden font cover.
