Baptismal font consisting of a square basin with wide chamfered angles, practically octagonal; raised on a quadrangular moulded base, and a three-step plinth. Wooden cover of the same chamfered square shape at the base, with four colonnettes at the chamfered angles supporting an octagonal canopy housing a Virgin and Child group. Both the font and the cover are Victorian, likely of the date of the church itself, around 1868. Saltburn itself dates from only a few years earlier.
