The Victoria County History (Oxford, vol. 4, 1979) notes that the Church of St. Barnabas was built after 1869. The font there is noted and illustrated in Flicker, with original from Oxfordshire Church Illustrations [http://flickr.com/photos/oxfordshire_church_photos] [accessed 1 August 2007]. A square table-top basin raised on five supports; probably ca. 1870; definitely a Victorian-period version of a Norman original design. Tall canopy over a flat round cover.
