The baptismal font found in this church at present [July 2007] consists of an hexagonal basin the sides of which are decorated with tracery panels, raised on a moulded hexagonal pedestal base; it is probably dated from the period after the mid-18th century restoration of the church [cf. infra]. [NB: we have no information on the original baptismal font of the Norman church of St. Nicholas]
