Baptismal font consisting of an octagonal basin decorated with deeply-carved panels decorated with a floral motif nscribed in a tetrafoil, floral motifs between the mouldings of the uppr rim, graded underbowl chamfer, raised on an octagonal pedestal base, itself ornamented with Ogee archaes/windows, and a moulded lower base. Wooden font cover, flat and round, decorated with metal; probably contemporary with the Victorian font. [NB: Sherwood & Pevsner (1974) note that the new church was "rebuilt in 1826 on a new site", and, that, of the old church, "the chancel has been preserved as a mortuary chapel"; the old church has Early English and Decorated details, but we have no information of the medieval font of that church]
