Noted in Verey & Brooks (1999-2002): "Font. Plain sixteen-sided bowl, possibly early C16, resting on an earlier cylindrical base". Wilkes (2007) suggests the base may be a Norman clylindrical basin. Both pieces appear to have been drastically re-tooled; the font is fitted with a low-dome sixteen-sided wooden cover that matches the shape of the basin.
