There may have been a baptismal font in the original late-14th-century church in this site, but the font now [2007] in place at St. Thomas' is probably dated from the erection of the new church ca. 1793; the font is rather awkwardly shaped: the basin is an inverted square prism chamfered to octagonal at the top, separated by a moulding from the square prism that serves as base and is raised on four squat legs that are decorated at the copitals and bases. The wooden cover is an octagonal crown-like low pyramid with a ball finial, probably from the same date as the font.
