A modern font consisting of a hemispherical basin the sides of which are decorated with a pattern of stylised foliage, raised on a round pedestal base ornamented with fluting and with a lower moulded part; raised on a small quadrangular plinth. The wooden cover is round and flat, with metal decoration and Latin cross. [NB: St. Hedda's was built on an earlier chapel, but we have no information on the adtes of that chapel, and whether or not a font existed in it].
