There is an entry for Willersey [variant spelling] in the Domesday survey [https://opendomesday.org/place/SP1039/willersey/] [accessed 28 December 2018] ; it mentions a priest, but not a church, in it, though there must have been one in it. Verey & Brooks (1999-2002) write: "Font. Norman tub-shaped bowl set on a pillar and plinth of 1905." The upper rim of the basin shows considerable damage, probably from the forceful removal of the old cover staples. Wooden cover, flat with handle across the top. The entry for this church in Historic England [Listing NGR: SP1070139661] notes: "Anglican Parish Church, C12 nave with blocked S doorway. C13 N porch. N aisle rebuilt C13. C15 tower. C19 vestry and restoration. [...] Norman tub shaped font on modern pillar and plinth, in N transept." The web site for the parish [www.willersey.org/stpeter.htm] [accessed 28 December 2018] reports: "The ancient font, supposed to date from the 13th century, is preserved, though not now in use." The caption of a 2018 photograph of this font by jmc4 [www.flickr.com/photos/52219527@N00/31073326347] [accessed 28 December 2018] reads: ""Early Norman c1050 tub style font , restored by Prof. Hewins and used again for the first time for 60 years on February 12th 1905 .
