Parker (1855) reports a very good octagonal font in this church. Noted in Pevsner & Wilson (1997) in their entry for Outer Norwich churches, this one, St. Alban's, on Grove Walk, Lakenham: "Font. From Knettishall in Suffolk. Octagonal, with tracery patterns on the bowl, much damaged." The font cover, informs Knott (2008) quoting Cautley (1982?), was moved to nearby Riddlesworth, Norfolk.
