Verey & Brooks (1999-2002) note: "Furnishings almost entirely by Butterfield [i.e., William Butterfield, the Victorian architect] […] Square tapering font, on sturdy shafts". Baptismal font probably of the late 19th century; basin square at the top, the sides, which are decorated with a single rope moulding, tapering to meet the five-support base; square lower base on square plinth. Square oak cover with metal decoration and finial; probably contemporary.
