The baptismal font noted in Pevsner, Harris and Antram (1989): "Square baluster, set diagonally, and fluted bowl (cf. Langtoft)", is probably from the new church by James Fowler in 1862 to replace the earlier church of 1715, itself a replacement of an older chapel or church here. [We have no information on the font from the older church]
