Verey & Brooks (1999-2002) note a "square font, badly trefoiled (with a cover of 1898)" probably by F. S. Waller & Son, the architects of the late-19th century renovation of the church; they also note: "a second font is C18, of baluster type". Baptismal font consisting of a square basin raised on five supports, roughly in the Early English style but surely made in the late-Victorian period. The octagonal baluster-type object could be a stoup, rather than a font. [NB: the fabric of the church goes back to the 13th century, but we have no information on the earlier font of this church]
