There is an entry for Stickford [variant spelling] in the Domesday survey [https://opendomesday.org/place/TF3560/stickford/] [accessed 28 July 2019]; it reports a church in it. Pevsner, Harris and Antram (1989) note: "Font. Octagonal, with quatrefoils whose centres are shields or leaves." The entry for this church in Historic England [Listing NGR: TF3519260038] notes: "Parish church. C13, C14, C15, restorations 1830, 1853 by Fowler, 1863 and 1881. [...] C14 octagonal font, the bowl decorated with quatrefoil panels." A simple wooden cover of four stylised scroll ribs meeting at the finial.
