There are three entries for Glentham [variant spellings] in the Domesday survey [https://opendomesday.org/place/TF0090/glentham/] [accessed 14 July 2019] none of which mentions cleric or church in it. Pevsner, Harris and Antram (1989) have: "Font. The underside a sumptuous circular stiff-leaf capital". The Owmby Group of Parishes web site [www.owmbygroup.co.uk] [accessed 6 February 2007] notes: "The font has a 12th century base with a circular still leaf capital. The top section was added in 1916." The entry for this church in Historic England [Listing NGR: TF0031490464] notes: "Parish Church. C13, C14, C15, C16, 1756, 1855, C20. [...] The font is a circular bowl on a circular pedestal with stiff leaf decoration to the underside of the bowl, inscribed "about 1260 and 1916".
