A later font is noted in Orrin (1988): "The font which stands under the tower has an octagonal bowl set on a slender stem which rests on three steps. Round the top of the rim is the inscription: --'T.C. L.C. churchwardens 1745.'" [NB: although the original fabric of the church is probably 13th-century, we have no information on the earlier font(s) of this church]
