Described in Orrin (1988): "The plain octagonal bowl and stem of the 14th-century font rests [sic] on a square base above a two-tier circular plinth with a projecting step. The underside of the bowl is chamfered to meet the stem where the only attempt at decoration is provided by triangular projections as exaggerated spurs on four of the sides." This same source mentions a circular holy-water stoup "in trhe recess in the south wall near the door" [NB: no date is mentioned in Orrin and we have not made a separate entry for this stoup in the Index]
