In Orrin (1988): "The only example in the Vale of Glamorgan of Norman arcading with trefoil arches appears on the defunct font at Llantrithyd church which lies neglected on the south side of the churchyard." Elsewhere in the same source Orrin (ibid.) notes: "on the south side of the churchyard is the pedestal of what appears to be an old font with fine Norman arcading."
