Font Notes:
Though not mentioned at all in Pevsner, Harris and Antram (1989), the Gillott Family History web site [www.gillottfamilyhistory.com/Addlethorpe_Church_Lincolnnshire_Article.html] illustrates what appears to be a wall-mounted stoup that is, however, claimed by some local sources as a font for the baptism of the peasants [NB: the latter is probably an unfounded claim, at least in the original conception of this object]. The entry for this church in Historic England [Listing NGR: TF5509369098] notes: "The C15 octagonal font has panelled sides and base containing tracery and shields. C19 conical softwood cover [...] and in the north east angle an octagonal stoup with ogee head, above which is a cusped niche."
