Reported in the Llanfaelog St Maelog's web site [www.stmaelog.org.uk/pages/taly.htm] [accessed 3 January 2007]: "On the south side of the nave is a 15th century octagonal gritstone font with roll moulding at the base, set on an octagonal stem with necking." [NB: the Norman basin now [ca. 2007] housed in this church for safe-keeping belonged to the Tal-y-llyn [aka Talyllyn] chapel of St. Mary -- cf. Index entry for Tal-y-llyn No. 1 for the corresponding entry]
