Noted in the web site of Communauté de comunes des Vallées de la Tille et de l'Ignon [www.covart.fr.fr/Index.php] [accessed 31 December 2006] as an octagonal baptismal font of the 12th century. In his entry on the font at Llanymawddwy, Wales, Thurlby (2006) writes: "This has been dated to the fourteenth century but the scallops indicate that the twelfth century is more likely as in the associate design at Til-Châtel (Côted'Or). This would better suit the tub shape of the font and also the simple raised middle band." An early drawing of the Til-Châtel font appears in a 1687 drawing [https://pop.culture.gouv.fr/notice/memoire/AP21W05081] [accessed 1 July 2025]. 1 June 2021 digital photograph of the font by GO69 [https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/8/8a/Til-Châtel_(21)_Église_Saint-Florent-et-Saint-Honoré_-_Intérieur_-_19.jpg] [accessed 1 July 2025] shows the font with metal staples at opposite ends of the upper basin rim but no cover present.
