Noted in the web site of Communauté de comunes des Vallées de la Tille et de l'Ignon [www.covart.fr.fr/Index.php] [accessed 31 December 2006] as an octagonal baptismal font of the 12th century. In his entry on the font at Llanymawddwy, Wales, Thurlby (2006) writes: "This has been dated to the fourteenth century but the scallops indicate that the twelfth century is more likely as in the associate design at Til-Châtel (Côted'Or). This would better suit the tub shape of the font and also the simple raised middle band."
