Font Notes:
Although there is Norman evidence still left in St. Beuno's, much of the edifice dates from its rebuilding in the 16 century. The almost plain octagonal font consists of an octagonal basin with a graded moulding at the upper rim, plain sides and plain chamfered underbowl with a thin moulding where it meets the plain octagonal stem; stands on a quadragular plinth. The font could be 16th century or later. Octagonal pyramidal font cover, the base with a scalloped border; tipped with a tiny figural sculpture; probably modern. [NB: we have no information of the earlier font of this church]
