Castillo Maldonado (2006) notes a Visigothic baptismal font decorated with a chrismon (?) flanked by inscribed vases on either side. It was found in the archaeological site of La Guardia, in the province of Jaen, and appears to be now at the Museo Arqueologico Provincial de Jaen. [NB: we have not been able to corroborate this information yet, but there is a similar font, originally from Santiesteban del Puerto, also in the province of Jaen, in the Museo Arqueologogico Nacional, in Madrid [cf. Index entry for Madrid No. 2].
