Noted in the Magallon web site [www.magallon.es/turismo/monumentos/sanlorenzo.php] as a ceramic baptismal font the place of fabrication and the date noted in an inscription on it: "Soy de Magallón y fabricada en Muel a 3 de Henero [sic] de 1783". This same source informs that a copy of this font was presented to Pope John Paul II on his visit to Zaragoza [NB: the church was built in the 16th century and inaugurated in the first years of the 17th century, but we have no information of the earlier font of this church].
