Upcott (1818) notes and illustrates a font in this church. A Meeting of Lincoln and Northampton Societies recorded in The Ecclesiologist (vol. xiv, February 1853: 211) notes: "The ancient font in the Early English style [...] received much attention". The entry for this church in Historic England [Listing NGR: SK6508012068] notes: Parish Church. Largely late C13 to early C14, but with parts of the fabric considerably earlier [...] Plain font, probably C13: a heavy round basin on a round stem." The entry for this church in Charnwood [https://www.charnwood.gov.uk/listed_buildings/church_of_st_mary_main_street_queniborough] [accessed 30 June 2025] notes: "Plain front [sic], probably C13: a heavy round basin on a round stem" but states that, although the main fabric of the present church is 13th-14thC church, parts of the fabric may be considerably earlier, late Saxon or early Norman [cf. supra].
