An upturned basin, perhaps of a baptismal font, found in the ruins of the Franciscan Friary; the object has shell-like decoration all around, the upper rim lobulated by the upper ends of the ribs; the large gap at the underbowl is more likely to be a socket to fit the stem of the base, than an enlarged drain hole. [We are grateful to Lis Audigier, for the photographs of the object and the Priory]
